Biodiesel Quality
Every gallon of biodiesel marketed by Renewable Energy Group, Inc. is tested to meet or exceed industry quality standards.  In the production of biodiesel, Renewable Energy Group has been proactive in aggressively achieving quality in its biodiesel and setting industry-wide standards.  Biodiesel meets specifications at the REG network production site before leaving the plant for distribution.

The BQ-9000 Accreditation process was developed by the National Biodiesel Accreditation Commission as a voluntary testing program for the producers and marketers of biodiesel fuel in the US and Canada. The program involves a combination of the ASTM standard for biodiesel, ASTM D 6751, and a quality systems program that includes standards for storage, sampling, testing, blending, shipping, distribution and fuel management practices.
