Over 25 years in petroleum and agricultural production industries
including VP and COO of the Eastern Ag Region of Land O’ Lakes, President and CEO of Countrymark Cooperative (petroleum refiner and distributor), President and CEO of Hamilton Farm Bureau Cooperative. On Board of National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, Associated Benefits Corporation, Biosciences Alliance of Iowa, BIOWA Executive Committee, Cooperative Business International, Iowa State University’s Center for Crops Utilization Research Industry/Stakeholder Advisory Board and National Grain and Feed Association.

business. Prior to Renewable Energy Group, Inc., Mr. Oh
was a Vice President and member of senior management at
ABG, Inc., an agribusiness consulting firm responsible
for management consulting and market research practice.
Nile Ramsbottom
Executive Vice President,
Global Sales
Over 35 years in value added agriculture. EVP of West Central where he established West Central as a leader in the emerging biodiesel industry. EVP and Officer of Ralston Purina and Purina Mills. On Board of Directors of Simmons Foods, Simpson College and Western Iowa Energy.
Brad Albin
Vice President,
Manufacturing
Over 22
years experience in executive operations positions in
multi-feedstock
BioDiesel,
chemical, food and automotive supplier companies. Former
committee member of
NBAC
and played significant role drafting BQ-9000
Standard. Managed engineering, operations, quality, R &
D and
ESH for
last 15 years as VP or Director for companies such as
Monsanto.
Myron Danzer
Vice President, Customer and Technical Service
Over 20 years in biodiesel and agricultural process. Managed engineering, construction, startup and operation of several biodiesel plants. Director of Technology and Quality Control within West Central. On National Biodiesel Board as commissioner on Biodiesel Accreditation Committee.
David Elsenbast
Vice President, Supply
Chain Management
Over 20 years in agricultural business development, supply chain management, operations, and purchasing. VP of Business Development for Milk Specialties Company. Black Belt in Six Sigma.
Gary Haer
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Over 13 years in the biodiesel industry. National Sales and Marketing Manager for West Central biodiesel efforts. On Governing Board for National Biodiesel Board. Vice-Chairman of Energy Committee for National Council of Farm Cooperatives.
Sara Taylor
Executive
Director, Corporate Affairs
Taylor brings a wealth of
experience in coordinating REG's public policy and
public affairs strategies. She is a former top political
strategist for President Bush and brings 10 years of
experience in message development and issue advocacy to
REG.
Keith Olson
Executive
Director, Corporate Finance & Investment Banking
Mr. Olson leads REG’s Corporate Finance and Investment
Banking activities with responsibility for financings,
strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally,
he assists in the evaluation of business development
opportunities and strategic investments, and coordinates
internal financial analysis on behalf of other REG
business units.
Patrick Hammen
Chief Information Officer
Mr. Hammen
has experience in evaluating, choosing,
implementing and upgrading systems and information
technology solutions. As CIO, Hammen
incorporates new technology services, software and
programs for Renewable Energy Group’s nationwide network
of biodiesel production facilities and growing
headquarters.
Natalie Lischer
Treasurer
Ms. Lischer oversees credit, invoicing,
cash management, tax and inventory, accounts payable and
debt banking relationships for the REG network
nationwide.
Glen Meier
Director, Technology & Feedstock Development
Mr. Meier investigates new technologies
that are complementary to REG’s business and assigns
priorities, staff and resources to multiple projects.
The Technology & Feedstock Development department is a
core strength of REG and the department supports many
other functions of the business including Quality,
Production, Procurement and Construction..
Bill Neese
Director, Transportation and Logistics
Over 30 years in agricultural and truck
transportation. Managed West Central’s transportation of
products consumed and produced. Transportation Manager
for Ralston Purina and Cargill
Don Nelson
Director, National Sales
Mr. Nelson works with private and public
fleets and the petroleum industry to introduce biodiesel
into new markets, grow Renewable Energy Group’s current
market share and develop national strategies for
biodiesel consumption.
Jon Scharingson
Director, Marketing
More than 20 years of experience working
in marketing and biotechnology. Mr. Scharingson oversees
national market development strategies for Renewable
Energy Group, Inc. and the commercial-scale biodiesel
production facilities in the REG network nationwide.
Dave Simon
Controller
Mr. Simon oversees the accounting and
financial activities and implementation of the
Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program for Renewable Energy
Group, Inc. and the commercial-scale biodiesel
production facilities in the REG network nationwide.
